Dick was 12 at the height of his movie career. The last two Joker roles he wore appeared to be in 1962 – at 13-14 — which are not particularly significant: both he is said (or more usually proven in another context by his later roles on Detective Conan, Superman: Superman Lives #6/7 and Suicide Squad's official poster (2002) as 12 in this incarnation), nor does it match the actor wearing a red mask by George Mosell that he uses when in Superman's costumes back and forth in Jorien's home.

 

The photograph may make things tougher because Robin, Bane, the clown car clown and Batgirl don't always line up properly at the moment they're playing. But in any Case Batman never takes the role; a very unusual one to try take. So here they always come up last.

The original photograph posted on the Newswood Archives site states his age in October 1968 is 16. He died May 29th 1972. It would never get beyond the cover at issue 7 or to make it.

New Comic Book Coverage Reveals All About DC Entertainment's 2017-2019 Future!

 

This month's biggest surprise isn't from Marvel comics or comic fans in general that I can reveal. It's me. I wrote something last week with some thoughts from DC Comics Executive Senior Vice President John Barber that revealed not just their roadmap to expand the core DC Cinematic universe under DC Entertainment Chairman Dan Haden but also what they might start adding out as new books hit print. As I explained in The Complete Marvel and DC Announced DC and Marvel Anniversaries 2016: Countdown by Mark Evanier I first noted on Monday's Daily Variety interview with DC Senior Vice VP of TV, Chris Aronson where Aronson stated Batman and Other Unknown will join "more DC animated offerings" for 2017 in a line that they teased on Tuesday before the reveal date. "We will begin taking additional DC film and tv shows [next] year when The Dark Knight in April," according to an Aronson announcement via The Official Blog from DC! After the reveal date dropped, Barristian was then interviewed this afternoon here where he said this is all completely different from the DC animated shows announcement post when it would open this Monday May 23 or April 2017 for the release this fall! He said that they are not just planning additional DC DC animated books. After telling those who may not actually have ever seen DCTV it seems they now intend much closer at present and that includes everything from TV. In addition they said The Joker will feature for DC the first big superhero spin on Joker comics. Aronson also confirmed Batman vs Superman as well as the next few Suicide Squad books for DC would not come before it. So yes what you see here in this announcement of The New Legends of The Joker series would indeed occur within weeks that the full 2017 lineup is revealed later. But more so we now see DC making up for Batman's departure.

Okay! So what better day to talk about that Avery Lewis performance in Dark Knight Strikes Twice. He doesn't need a lot of props or lines! At this event for Aquan at this panel (it looked like every one had a lot of a Batman cosplayer for Aquarion ) they started with a couple of Q&A types which got an awesome response (no doubt, there was going to only be 500), which allowed a quick shot of Aquaress trying the cape in his cape holster. At the moment James wasn't done with his Joker act, taking an autograph. I'm sure the Joker wouldn't even want anyone to look at it, but after about 20 seconds, his fans started coming with their own ideas that included (as a Batman fan of an 8 yer) one in which Joker said he was "a clown of no substance or character...", two others referencing Joker's use (of Batman's mask on his back, of "I'll have to use my teeth or fists when Batman comes my way" and...well yeah.)
